GOV. KATHLEEN BABINEAUX=RAGIN CAJUN..by Nagara Duplessis
Watching the poor, poor job that the major news outlets did during coverage on Hurricane Katrina a year ago doesn't appear to be much better a year later now that it is all said and done.
The flat out disrespect, lies and negativity being directed towards Gov. Kathleen Babineaux-Blanco is nothing more but pure "scapegoating" by the typical good-ole-boys club. If this was a Republican MAN(one of Bush's buddies) in the Governors mansion-you best bet-that Louisiana wouldn't be being ignored and its residence would not be denied basic aid due to "red tape."(as it is called)
Talking heads (the idiot guest on supposedly news talk shows who run off at the mouth) on MSNBC, CNN, and FOX news don't even have the intelligence to pronounce this lady's name correct but they are quick to fault her for everything from the Levee break, to Bush being missing in action, to the fact that Pluto has been down graded from a planet to a moon! The real people at fault (Good Ole Boy's Club) don't seem to think that they are accountable for anything.
When Kathleen Blanco was elected she had a target on her head by former Gov. Foster's old cronies, to Ray Nagin, to the Bush administration. The Bush administration, Home Land Security, and FEMA's Mike Brown-deliberately screwed up the search, rescue and assistance to Louisianians who were trapped in the wrath of Hurricane Katrina after some brain mysteriously left a barge floating in the river which broke the levee that flooded most of the city. They refused to give this lady so much as a school bus and this had to be done on purpose by the Bush administration. I tried to think the best and let those thoughts go, so that I could sleep at night, but look at how much funding, aid, and help Gov. Barbour of Mississippi is getting from the Bush administration. Last I checked, Louisiana was next to Texas and not Mississippi state but it seems that Bush is always in Mississippi by the Good Ole Boy Governor. Who does more for Texas?-Mississippi or Louisiana? Well, being that if you go into Lower Plaquemines Parish-there's oil rigs set up in ones backyard-and the oil companies have destroyed most of our wetlands natural habitats and the fact that Louisiana big oil pays billions to Texas and really nothing to Louisiana. They drill off of our wetlands-you would think that the Gov. of Louisiana would get a little more assistance but this doesn't appear to be the case. How much of money flows from Mississippi into the state of Texas......um........NOTHING! NADA! But Mississippi seems to be priority in rebuilding and funding while the Federal Government is mysteriously tying up our states money in virtual B.S. Red Tape mazes.
I cant blame or fault Gov. Kathleen Blanco because I saw the fact they set out to assassinate this lady's career and citizens of this state were the casualties of the war that the Bush administration has declared on the state of Louisiana.(This is one dirty and corrupt administration) A democratic state with a democrat FEMALE Governor sitting in the middle of a good ole boys red state network-thats the real issue in a nut shell on why things are still being with held from Louisiana. Another issue that she has,....um.....yeah I'm just gonna say it..... is the fact that New Orleans has an idiot for a Mayor on top of the Moron President!
The sacrifices of the citizens of Louisiana has made the Bush family and his buddies so rich that every member of his administration are oil and energy wealthy. While many people in the state of Louisiana are lucky to see a check for 40.00 from an oil company using their property. Secretary of State- Condaleezza Rice (who went shoe shopping during Hurricane Katrina) is the poorest member of his cabinet and she is a multi-millionaire over and over again-in fact she has an oil barge named after her-thanks to drilling in Louisiana!
It is clear that Gov. Kathleen Babineaux-Blanco was set up to take a fall and bare a huge burden that should be on the backs of G. Bush, Mike Brown, and Chertoff(head of H.L.S.) At the end of the day, it was Gov. Kathleen Babineaux-Blanco that found the buses that evacuated the city of New Orleans when everyone else ran and hid! The federal government can build up entire neighborhoods in Iraq that Arabs keep blowing up again and again, they can collect billions of dollars from oil companies that tear up the coast of Louisiana but cant give the Governor of Louisiana the aid she needs-thats B.S. and it's time for the "FEDS" and Bush to do their dam share!
