HALLIBURTON USHERING IN MEXICAN INDIANS by Ted Duplessis

Well, it looks like Halliburton, George Bush and Dick Cheney are attempting to transform the rich streets of New Orleans into the typical streets located in a typical South-Western state-by busing in thousands of illegal Mexican immigrants.

Stores and government appear to have been working together because it wasn't even 3 months after Hurricane Katrina that shelters sprung up with thousands of Mexicans and shelves started stocking Mexican products.  This makes the deaths in New Orleans-mass murder! 

Mexicans are now taking away jobs that should be going to black and white workers.  The displaced worker due to Bush's plot of cheap labor are the average Southern White person under 30 and the average black person.  Halliburton is seeing record profits off of the rebuilding of New Orleans which will skyrocket in the billions.  It has been reported that Halliburton has been submitting invoices charging tax payers upwards of 80.00 an hour for simple debris pick ups but paying Mexican workers 7.00! The remainder of that money is going directly and indirectly into the pockets of Bush and Cheney.

Mexican immigrants have been over flowing the West bank, French quarter, Uptown and parishes that had no Mexicans now have more Mexicans than blacks and in certain areas there will be more than whites(like what is happening in other states-California,Texas,New Mexico is almost to the point where there will never be a Caucasian Governor elected in office)!  What happens when the rebuilding is completed? The same ills that are destroying New Mexico, Texas, California and Arizona-we will have Mexican gangs, Mexicans on welfare, a new underclass placing a burden on this state along with our own under class.  Louisiana politicians need to take a look at how U.S. citizens are voting pro-illegal labor politicians out of office every single election.  The under class of New Orleans will mostly return back and Mexico's underclass will not just up and leave-so then what? Another mess that Louisiana politcians will have gotten the natives of this state involved in and another tax burden to bare-just like folks in the Western states.

There is already a lack of affordable housing and from my personal experience with cities that develop large numbers of undocumented Mexican workers-housing skyrockets out of control and the middle class disappears-this would mean Creoles would be forced from New Orleans along with many lower income residents.

Mexicans are not just some friendly people seeking a job-they are historically there to take jobs and be used as pawns by wealthy corporations and politicians who are corrupt and looking for kick-backs from the cheap slave labor.

Any company that is using Mexican labor-SHOULD NOT BE SUPPORTED! ANY POLITICIAN THAT SUPPORTS MEXICAN WORKERS IN THE REGION SHOULD BE VOTED OUT OF OFFICE. FOR THE NEW ORLEANS HOTEL CHAINS WHO ARE BEING SUED BY THE "GUEST WORKER" IMMIGRANT GROUPS THAT THEY PAID TO COME INTO THE CITY-YOU BROUGHT IT ON YOURSELVES AND I HOPE YOU GO BANKRUPT, BECUASE THATS JOBS THAT SHOULD HAVE WENT TO THE NUMEROUS LOW-INCOME PEOPLE WHO LIVE SURROUNDING THE CBD,RIVERWALK AND FRENCH QUARETR. WE WONDER WHY THERES DRUG DEALING IN THE CITY? BECUASE YOU CANT GET A JOB IN NEW ORLEANS IF YOU SPEAK ENGLISH AS A FIRST LANGUAGE!

Douglas Brinkley & The Cajun Navy "The Selective Historian" by Creole Folk's N. Duplessis

Douglas Brinkley's book was published in April. It is titled "The Great Deluge" (oooohhhhhhhhh) Sounds mighty fancy!!!!!!!! I do declare!!!!

He is all over Fox News pushing his agenda and covering for his buddy boy-George Bush. All he can say about George Bush is that he made some "MIS-STEPS"!!! Can you believe it? He says that George Bush didn't realize that New Orleans citizens were floating on tree branches in 15 feet of water!! He says that President Bush was not advised (and since Bush supposedly doesn't watch television because he is praying on WMD's) that Bush didn't know about the 5 strength Hurricane in the Gulf (where the oil companies that line his pocket are also located -by the way) Bush didn't know that he needed to take the call from Governor Kathleen Blacno when she said "Give me everything you got!"-these weren't words that Bush claimed he could understand so he went and ate supper but he can talk to Mexico's President, Vincente Fox, in messed up Spanish just fine! How can Douglas Brinkley stand on television-week after week -being that he is a resident of New Orleans and a historian at Tulane University and tell these laughable, ridiculous lies and still manage to walk down a New Orleans street without getting spat on?  This man is flat out offensive garbage!

Below is what he says about the brave men of the Cajun Navy-who were the REAL first responders before the government got to New Orleans because the President was in California giving an air guitar concert and flew on his plush, private jet, over the Gulf Coast back to Washington and then sat around for about a week more.  All this time-Brinkley-from Tulane University -the "His-Story-an" is saying that Bush didn't know that New Orleans was in need of the Federal government! Below is what he said to a reporter about the Cajun Navy: (That he observed from his "High Ground" view going "ooh-ahh" this is going to be great reading material"

"Among the unsung heroes, Brinkley said, are those anonymous boat operators -- dubbed the Cajun navy -- who navigated their private fishing boats and other vessels through flooded New Orleans to lend a hand after the hurricane hit.

The sight of it all made him rethink his view of some laborers.

"I saw guys chain-smoking cigarettes ... with tattoos out there saving dozens of lives," he said in a recent address to the annual meeting of the Council for a Better Louisiana."

Brinkley also said President Bush made key missteps in overseeing the federal response to Hurricane Katrina, including what he sees as a lack of leadership now to rebuild New Orleans.

This is what drives people through the roof-when you have supposedly "Historians"(in his own mind) at a supposedly prestigious (in it's own mind) University like "Tulane "-pushing this junk around the literary world and trying to rewrite history.  So, since we are stereotyping Cajuns, Mr.Douglas "W.A.S.P." Brinkley-by saying that they were only anonymous laborers who chained smoked! You would smoke also- Coon Ass! if you had to pull dead bodies out of Mississippi salt water!

Well it took me all but 12 hours to find 2 of the men from the Cajun Navy and guess what Mr.Historian at Tulane-they have names!!!! They have families!!! They did what George Bush didn't have the inclination, motivation or BALLS to do-they provided hope and managed to save a few lives! I dint see you on Fox News or any other media outlet doing anything other than defending Bush's indefensible actions during Hurricane Katrina and promoting your book which is designed to promote George Bush-since he only took "Mis-Steps" according to you.  I don't know what New Orleans you were living in or what type of history you people write at Tulane University-but to not even take the time to go into a nearby Parish and ask ANYONE working at the local grocery store, Who were the Cajuns who rescued people in New Orleans on boats?" or Who were the Cajuns, who rescued the people at St.Ritas?"(this is how we do it in Louisiana-it's not that hard to get a name and give some credit)-your just typical menteur (Menture is French for Liar-BTW)who wants to sell a book and promote an agenda.  That appears to be going around this city.  Supposedly leaders and people with "higher" standings and some even on tax payers dimes, should have a little more integrity, but all it seems is that you guys want to do is go on Dr.Phil's show and all over cable television-selling your bull, your books, your boo-hoo poor me stories(stop telling people that your a "survivor" to give the impression that your W.A.S.P. butt was trapped in an attic for a week with water to your neck while you held a baby over your head) and whatever else to get exposure. When not one of you New Orleans historians, Mayors or Police Chiefs that are on national television every other day spinning your tales-not one of you were actually in the Convention Center, Superdome or on any boats helping out the Cajun Navy! There are things that a historian from Tulane could be doing instead of pushing your White-housed approved version of events. You could be guest teaching or speaking at the numerous schools, in the area, who have a lack of teachers......oh....wait a minute.... but that's not going to get you on Fox New's Bill O'Reilly.

 

If you want to find out who saved this city and thousands of lives-all you have to do is write a few chapters-1) Kathleen Blanco, 2)General Honore, 3)Cajun Navy.  Everyone else was following orders and doing what they were supposed to be doing-that is unless they were busy making "Mis-Steps."

In closing -"Mr. Tulane Historian" who can have a position at Tulane but cant give one..NOT ONE! interview where you name ONE man from the Cajun Navy? but your a historian?...Bein Sur!  Oh yeah....next time you get tempted to fix your lips to say the Cajun Navy were unnamed, anonymous, chain smokers-you take a step back and say Nick Alfonso and Jack Roux. There Mr.Tulane Historian-I did half your work for you! Now you write that in your "His-story" book!

Every single member of the Cajun Navy who risked their lives should be invited to the White House and appreciation should be expressed by the President and Mr. Doug W.A.S.P. Brinkley who has something against a guy needing a "smoke" while he's pulling DEAD babies out of water-should apologize to these brave men and memorize all of their names so next time your on television promoting that bunk book-you at least have that going for you!

SPIKE LEE=BANBOOZLED THE PUBLIC?by Nagara Duplessis

Perception-a mental image/ creating a concept/emotional response regarding an issue(or group of people) in the mind of others.

Spike Lee says that he just had to rush back from his vacation in Italy to do a documentary and record the historical events of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. He was so concerned and so moved by the horrendous images that he saw on his television screen that energy surged through his body and teleported him to the middle of Canal street! How noble!...yeah Right!! Spike Lee is talking (as usual) out of both sides of his mouth. Playing on the anger, frustration and hopelessness of Katrina victims but pushing his Al Sharpton "New York to New Orleans"-take-over agenda.  They are setting up Al Sharpton to make a run for Mayor of this city in the next couple of elections (you heard it here first folks!)

While I was hesitant to blog anything about the militant midget because I didn't want to take from the overall message of his docu-drama but a sufficient amount of time has passed and now I can check Mr.Lee on some issues and also I just cant keep taking HBO putting that documentary in such heavy rotation.  Here at Creole folks we don't discriminate-if there's one thing about Creoles and Cajuns we do not see race as an issue-we see character and integrity of one's soul but we call it as we see it!  We have lived for centuries in the state of Louisiana with nice humble lives but we keep getting pulled into drama, as of late, by other folks who see dollar signs in the state of Louisiana and want the richness of our culture and land by any means necessary.

We are having to fight oil companies, corrupt elected officials, corrupt police forces, immigrant take overs, mother nature sending 20 Hurricanes (due to global warming), ethnic racism and everything else you can name. Now we have Spike Lee trying to mold and shape the minds of this state. Not to mention, Phil Mcgraw walking around and acting as a publicist for FEMA (the worse agency in the history of this country)-but Dr.Phil needs show ratings so he goes and gets 3 FEMA trailers and airs it for his evening show but we all know that Dr.Phil isn't there when FEMA put your application on pending for 7 months!(unless you will make "good" television) Not Dr.Phil or Spike Lee set up an agency to put their money where their mouth is-all they want is a New Orleans backdrop and some Louisiana drama to make their market share.   If Spike Lee was so moved and he was only there to "document" the events-how come this documentary "When the Levees Broke"-appears to be one big commercial for Ray Nagin and Al Sharpton?  We know that anything shown or told, where Ray Nagin comes out looking sorta like he did even a so-so job during Hurricane Katrina, means something ain't right!

We were going to leave Spike Lee alone at first, but from my film sources he made some ethnic racist comments regarding the Creoles in New Orleans off camera to some of the cast.  I call them a "cast" because the way this was edited with minimum exposure for the Cajun Navy, Kathleen Blanco, General Honore but maximum talking time for Mayor Clarence Ray Nagin and Al Sharpton, has got to be addressed.

While Spike Lee's docu-drama had the right intentions he turned it into a full fledge advertisement for Ray Nagin. Ray Nagins liability in an official documentary on Hurricane Katrina was non-existent.  If there's anything that people know about Spike Lee(including myself) is that he's sneaky and manipulating-as a person and as a film maker.  He stirs more trouble due to his obsession with race and skin tone than David Duke-even within the black community he creates racial issues.  Besides pushing the agendas of Ray Nagin, AL Sharpton, the Pastor at the Noah's Ark church, Reverend turned book author(like all Reverends do), Michael Eric Dyson who has supposedly done 18 hours of research everyday for 3 months but cant even name one fact about a New Orleans Creole of Color when giving an interview to AOL's Blackvoices to promote another bunk book for profit. (that ain't going to any victims but straight to his pocket like Doug "Mr. His-story-an" Brinkley)

Act 1 of Spike Lee's "When the Levees Broke"-I sat and watched this docu-drama and by the time it rolled around to Act 2 and 3 (like most people) the following night-I caught his agenda.  Spike Lee wasn't trying to document facts, he was there to capitalize off of misfortunes of New Orleans underclass and promote the Ray Nagin/AL Sharpton and church protestant take over agenda(in the Afro-American community). I happened to catch a "Black State of the Union" on TV-1 (cable station)where Al Sharpton has a show called "Sharp Talk" and they were once again pitching their scam, about having the African-American church Pastors and Reverends, get folk's land and that way the church could protect their congregation better! I don't know what fool will fall for this scam.  Protestant "Profit Preaching" black churches have ATM's in the church now!! They installed ATM machines in their lobby.  I don't care how bad a school system may be-if you cant see the evils of these preachers, and the fact that they want to have negotiating power with land developers, then you deserve to be displaced!

The most offensive thing to me about this Spike Lee docu-drama, as a Louisiana Creole of Color person, was when Spike said off camera to Wynton Marsalis(New Orleans jazz musician) that "Creoles wanted to be white people!" OH HELL NO! This man doesn't know our history and heritage. Creoles claim all bloodlines and are educated about all of our ancestors-including the ones from Africa!(and Creole women aren't the ones who dye their hair blond and wear hair extensions;) This comment didn't make the final cut (a Hollywood term used to describe when the editor and director get in a room and change facts into a certain fiction for sensationalism)-What did make the final cut was Mr.Marsalis who is from a Creole family himself-had to go on defense and explain that Creoles (as well as Cajuns) are a close knit community (because if you look at the history of Creoles or Cajuns in Louisiana)-we have to stick together in communities.  Whenever outside people come into our Parishes we get exploited for greed and profit,  I thank Mr. Wynton Marsalis for him "trying" to clear that up (even though Spike Lee cut alot of Mr. Marsalis historic narratives about Creoles in New Orleans and left it on the cutting room floor)-because Spike Lee was attempting to be a bigot and create a PERCEPTION in the mind's of others.  Spike has a history of of bigotry.  He is obsessed with making everything into skin color (not race) but literally skin coloring that is on your bones.  He is basically as unstable as Sheriff Harry Lee.

I suggest that Mr. Spike Lee appreciate all the cultures and struggles of the people of New Orleans if he is claiming that this is a documentary and not a typical docu-drama. I also suggest that he educate himself about the communities and historic ethnic groups of this city and region, if he is going to come down and set up camp in our town. This goes for all of Hollywood. Don't start no mess and there will not be no mess! We have gone through mess (and still are) with big oil companies and we aren't about to be exploited by the film industry or land developers-NOT TODAY and NOT NEVER!

One final note for the militant midget-Spike Lee- I have been through your 40 Acres and a Mule (west) and saw that it was a dump. In fact, you rent this out to black professionals for casting in the film industry and charge them but your production company has mole growing in the corner, water falling down through the ceiling and exposed wires. Look like Hurricane Katrina hit that office on Sunset Blvd! You better fix that dump up because I would hate for pics of that place to get out into the public;)  I can see why your production house would be a dump,...I mean....look at your films!

Don't make an off camera comment like that about Creoles in our own backyard! Keep your comments to yourself next time. Have a great day sir:)

BUSH,FEMA,BROUSSARD,JEFFERSON AND PLAQUEMINES PARISH....by Nagara Duplessis

Why was Jefferson Parish(Broussard's Parish) so much more organized and efficient during Hurricane Katrina than Orleans Parish which looked like a Haitian revolt or Afghanistan?  Two words......Aaron Broussard!  The President of Jefferson Parish who was on his "A" game but let down by the U.S. government.

Jefferson Parish had areas with substantial damage but what made Jefferson Parish more able to keep it together was the leadership.  Sheriff Harry Lee went over board with the firing squad but once again -this isn't the fault of the officers but communication between former Orleans Sheriff, Ed Compas, who we all know was reporting tabloid style garbage as facts and the tendency of Sheriff Harry Lee to forget his mental medications.

Aaron Broussard, one of many leaders from a Louisiana Cajun background who just showed what being a Cajun is all about during hard times.  The Cajuns survived the hostile exile of the British and managed to carve out a home wherever they landed.  The Cajuns built about 50% of the state of Louisiana, they have always had this strong sense of survival and keeping a level head. Gov. Kathleen Babineux-Blanco a perfect example.  Of course, the mainstream media which caters to a certain ethnic group-will make them out to be lost and out of control during Hurricane Katrina but that is just anti-Louisiana propaganda and flat out ethnic racism!

Aaron Broussard, would have had Jefferson Parish as stable as Crawford, Tx-had it not been for the idiot Bush and the idiot Mike Brown, former head of FEMA.

Aaron Broussard made an interesting point, the 10.5 billion that the U.S. government and Bush administration has whined about giving to rebuild the state -is pennies compared to the 10.5 billion that is given to Iraq every month and half!  Every month and a half-the U.S. government and Congress have no problem taking American's tax payers money and sending over seas. Don't be fooled by political marketers in the main-stream media, who are saying that FEMA is paying too much money on people of Louisiana! Keep in your bull's eye who the real failures of Hurricane Katrina were and are still failing the people today! The first Yankee game after Sept.11 WTC attack-Bush went to N.Y. and tossed a baseball to boost the moral of the citizens of New York-now that the New Orleans Superdome is opening-lets see if Bush is even considerate enough to put in an appearance.  Let see if he has time for the citizens who just got through with the worse disaster this country has every seen or lets see if he will once again be M.I.A.

After the N.Y, WTC attack, Bush got on t.v. and said support New Yorkers go and buy and shop and like a patriotic American -I was supposed to be flying into New Orleans, a little after the terrorist attacks of 9-11, to head down into Plaquemines but because President Bush got on t.v. and said support N.Y. I went from Los Angeles to Manhattan, instead of going to Louisiana, and took out about 3 volunteer works(volunteers were non-paid and worked around the clock) at the W.T.C. for dinner who were getting off from clearing rubble at the site of the TC attacks.  I have been waiting an entire year for President Bush to get on t.v. and tell people to come to Louisiana (not just New Orleans)- and shop and support the folks in Louisiana. Well, that never happened! So, don't send me emails saying that I am Bush hating-it is what it is and it went down the way it went down! I see the difference between the way Louisiana has been treated compared to New York. I didn't have much money to fly to N.Y. and "spend" but I did it to be a good American and didn't whine but you mean to tell me that a mega rich government agency like FEMA has nerve to whine? FEMA, the agency that blocked supplies of fuel and water! FEMA isn't doing anything for anyone in Louisiana. I don't want to hear the propaganda saying that people in Louisiana want welfare and the government is running out of funds-bull...bull....and more bull!  Don't get me started on all the money that the levee board has STOLEN from lower Plaquemines.  It is hundreds of millions maybe billions and they can't have a better levee system in Plaquemines than that mound of mud with a little 1 foot of concrete? Has FEMA cleared land in Plaquemines to get folks out of that trailer park? Hell No! FEMA says that it isn't there job to clear land! Well, will FEMA tell me what is their job? It seems that they just sit back in Baltimore, Maryland and collect a paycheck! FEMA is good at running an inefficient call center but cant do jac about helping out people in an emergency.

Maybe if everyone converted to Islam and learned Arabic then we could get FEMA or HALLIBURTON to get folks out of fema trailers and back on their property.

The media reported that Gov. Blanco turned down assistance from Bush and FEMA-Uh-Uh....Urban legend and more propaganda from the main stream media kooks at Fox, CNN, MSNBC about Louisiana. Only a complete jack ass can keep finding an excuse to defend this current President! (keep it real)

Aaron Broussard, was having Walmart ship in water,that is until, FEMA and Bush stopped that from happening. Arron Broussard had fuel from the Nation Guard waiting, that is until Bush and FEMA stopped that from happening. It was at this point where desperation set in and he gave the famous "Help" interview.  This wasn't a sign of weakness but a sign of an American leader who had a government that wouldn't work with him on any points.  Even with all of this opposition-the man still kept Jefferson Parish up and running.  Currently Jefferson Parish is almost at 100% operational capacity but whats going on with Orleans Parish?

The reason why it took so long for me to give props to a Cajun brother was because I really wanted to double check my facts and make sure that our government was that stupid and inefficient during Hurricane Katrina..Yep! They sure were! Remember that when the next presidential election rolls around-ask these candidates what were they doing during Hurricane Katrina., when they roll into Louisiana and ask for your vote!

A FEMALE PRESIDENT? RAGIN CAJUN BLANCO,SHOE SHOPPING RICE, OR PENIS ENVY CLINTON? by N. Duplessis

With all the talk of Condi Rice being the first female president (I cant figure out why except that people have been duped into thinking that because she is an African-American that she must be an Oprah type)-uh...no! Women of America-hear me and hear me GOOD-the woman is a lying, manipulating, selfish, out-for-herself, don't give a rat's ass about women's rights just as long as she is the head hen of the nest. Bush's marketing people gave her that old-fashioned 1960's hair-do and people my grandmother's age were like "Oh, she's such a good black woman."...uh.....no! That was marketing 101 for American idiots! Condi Rice is a puppet for a greedy and corrupt administration and wouldn't interrupt her personal life if the Western U.S. was hit by a nuclear warhead from North Korea! Condileezza Rice would keep on watching her oil stock shoot up through the roof while practicing her "back hand."

Hillary Clinton....uh....NO! Democrats love the thought of Hillary.  Artillery Hillary is her liberal pet name given to her by male conservatives who are hyping up Hillary to run but making Democrats think that it is their doing because they know what others refuse to see about Hillary..she's as dirty of a politician as you can get!  She was one of the lead corporate attorneys for the notorious anti-working man, child labor exploitation mega-stores of the U.S....WALMART!  Not to mention she sounds really stupid when she takes a poll of public opinion, and it shows that people feel she is far "left" and then gives a speech about "killing this" and "killing that" to supposedly appear more moderate.  Does she know that she sounds as kooky as John Ascroft during her speeches?  Did she inject herself in the butt with a shot of testosterone? Is Hillary Clinton on juice?   She is sounding like Osama Bin Hillary! In fact, Hillary Clinton missed a golden opportunity to secure herself as the next President of the United States when she failed to come to the aid of Gov. Kathleen Blanco by not offering any sort of help when she saw the Governor of Louisiana being fire walled by the typical "good ole boys."  Hillary Clinton, more than any other person in the Senate, is well schooled on Southern "good ole boys," politics and should have been the first one to say, "Governor I am here for you and what can I do to help you through this natural disaster?" Hillary Clinton validated the rumors of her being a politicians of polls and popular opinion instead of substance and real leadership, when she failed to help in New Orleans.

Kathleen Babineaux-Blanco...ohhh... YES!  Thats a real woman!  She is sexier than both Hillary and Condileezza Rice combined, she is smarter than both of them and she held her own with President Bush during the entire Katrina mess.  Not to mention, she got the buses that evacuated the city when the "good ole boys" (Mayor Ray Nagin included) couldn't even manage to send a shopping cart into New Orleans, with a bottle of Evian water into New Orleans.

Governor Kathleen Blanco is looking more and more like President material every week.  She is a mover and a shaker and did I mention that she held her own with President Bush!  President Bush and his entire "good ole boy" click aren't a joke.  If you want to see racism and sexism then you go and hang around with Bush and his circle for a few hours.  If you don't believe me then just look at Laura Bush!  What in the hell did they do to that woman?  She looks like a Stepford wife! She barely talks, she doesn't blink and she seems like she will bust into a Glen Close monologue about -"women needing to be in the kitchen and having babies" if she didn't have a scripted speech to recite while making public appearance.  I have to give it up to Gov. Kathleen Blanco, when any of those "good ole boys" from the red states enter Louisiana-you know that your entering Gov. Kathleen's house and she ain't taking no mess.   

Governor Kathleen Blanco isn't impressed with President Bush making his very, infrequent visits to a state that suffered the greatest disaster in the history of this country.  President Bush was happy to hide out in Shreveport, La. when Sept,11 WTC attacks happened in N.Y. though? hmmm.  What is this man running from?  Gov. Blanco dam sure is about the only, who isn't fooled by Ray Nagin's crooked grin and Bush's cowardice to face the music when he is called to duty and then fails to act. Ray Nagin wants to sit in the Mayor's office, collect a pay check, plan a Zulu parade and grin his way through his term- Gov. Blanco knows that she has to be the glue that holds this state together.  She now sees that at the end of the day-she has to be President, FEMA, Homeland Sec, New Orleans city re builder, N.O. Mayor and still be the Governor of Louisiana. 

So, all the talk about a female President which is limited to Condi Rice or Hillary Clinton, will just be talk because both of these two politicians are all talk and grins except for Gov. Kathleen Blanco.

We need someone that actually wants to work for the people and earn their salary-not someone who takes a "working" vacation every other month, not someone who who shops while Americans are dying and then gives a speech about she is the Secretary of State and not FEMA! We are well aware of your job title Condi "sista girl" Rice, BUT DAM!..are you HUMAN?  We don't need a grinning fool who wants to spend all day shaving his head so his nappy hair doesn't grow out in front of cameras (Ray Nagin said the reason why he took so long in the bathroom of Air force One-after hiding out during Katrina and before meeting with Bush-is because he though his hair was nappy and needed to shave it off-Ray Nagin is just a cleaned-up version of Al Sharpton but he is also a clown politician)-we do not need a career, political like Hillary Clinton who has more forms and shapes than an X-Men mutant.  What we need is someone with leadership, who is efficient, practical and able to build coalitions to achieve common objectives and that's Governor Kathleen Blanco!  She is already the one putting coalitions together to rebuild New Orleans while the Mayor and City officials lie, steal funds and bicker among each other.  While the city of New Orleans is putting all its resources into making sure Sean Pen and Jude Law are comfortable in their hotel rooms and putting on movie premiers uptown (an areas not really damaged by Hurricane Katrina)-we have the Governor trying to rebuild the entire city and not just certain areas! This is the idiotic, pandering and gawking to Hollywood types that we dont need right now! We should be pandering to the citizens who live here and pay taxes long after the movie has wrapped and the "stars" have gone back to their nice city streets in L.A. and Great Britain.  Hollywood comes into a city, wants everything for free and on the cheap, embrace the city to get what they can get, uses it's resources and then leaves after a couple of months-this is how Hollywood works all around the world. Why are state officials so "awe struck" in New Orleans when we should be rebuilding and not asking for autographs-I do not know!

Mayor Ray Nagin, city officials, FEMA, President Bush should all just sign over their pay checks to Gov. Blanco because lord knows, this woman is the only solid rock with real programs for the citizens of this state! Everything else is an illusion-set up and designed to cater to everyone but the citizens of New Orleans and lower Parish areas.

If the United States of America were to have a female President-it would be between Gina Davis the actress and Gov. Kathleen Blanco! I vote Blanco!

New Orleans Nazis-NO NEED FOR AMERICA'S CONSTITUTION? by N.J. Duplessis

There is one ray of hope, in this waste land of WASP dictators yielding a full out battle on the poor and middle class of New Orleans.  Criminal Judge, Frank Marullo, appears to be the only person in the local city's government to remember that we live in the United States of America!  This judge is running into, what I can only describe as city Nazis who want to jail, railroad and enslave every poor person in the city who cant afford a high priced lawyer! The Times Picayune (racist, corporate owned, corrupt, anti-Creole) paper, will not write a full detailed report because evidently Steve Singer is a fellow "Nazi WASP" with the editor of this paper-who is also a NAZI WASP-set on exploiting New Orleans rebuilding efforts.  What type of news does the Times Picayune covers? Well, lets just say that they will pick up any kooky, right wing, racist Texas red neck who is bitching about Hurricane Katrina evacuees but cant write one truthful story about the lone, Hitler/Napoleon types like Steve Singer who are on serious power trips! 

President Bush, who we all know cant even spell "Constitution" has fed ammunition to an already, racist, Nazi, dysfunctional, old deep South legal system that feeds on the removing of poor people from the streets of New Orleans. President Bush, wants to send in more prosecutors but there's not enough QUALIFIED public defenders to ensure that an accused person has a fair trial. If your a person of color in New Orleans or a poor white-then you know that you can be accused of anything at any given time by any circle of corrupt forces which operate in this city's law enforcement dept.

The city of New Orleans and Steve Singer, who is SUPPOSED to be making sure that every person accused of a crime, that could strip him or her of their freedom,-has the option promised by our forefathers to a public defender, if they cant afford to hire a high priced criminal defense attorney.  This isn't an option people-this is a right!  This is written in our Constitution but we are seeing rogue people like, Steve Singer and even President Bush, thinking that they know better than the forefathers of the United States! 

Steve Singer, isn't interested in following the Constitution of the United States of America or making sure that the very flawed and possibly illegal under Constitutional law, legal system of New Orleans is a court of LAW and not of CORRUPTION.

Anytime you have a criminal judge that is telling an appointed chief of a, so far, failed implementation of a just and legal public defender's program-then it is time for people to loose their jobs and be thrown in Angola prison!

  

This is the problem with this region-we have a lot of "Ya-hoos" and WASP walking around with a Napoleon complex-and are declaring Hitler style law and procedures. Steve Singer is a man who clearly has other motives and beliefs on class and race- and is using his position to work an agenda!  The only thing that can be drawn from Mr.Singer is that he feels the Constitution of the United States do not apply if your poor and minority (lets keep it real)-this public defender mess isn't being pushed and the laws of the land are being ignored because this affects poor black people of this city!  With a criminal, corrupt, racist (even though their are large numbers of African-American cops-blacks are racist also) enterprise like the NOPD and prison system-can America afford to be preaching democracy to other countries when we are under a Neo-Nazi regime in our own backyard?

Judge Frank Marullo has his worked cut out for him-besides having the burden of deciding court cases of a criminal nature, he also has to deal with criminals who are supposed to be ensuring the integrity of the system!  New Orleans has 2 faces-the Mardi Gras, party, happy face but as Hurricane Katrina showed their is an ugly, nasty underbelly and it appears that we will once again get caught with our pants down, to reveal the nasty warts on our backsides when word gets out that Napoleon and Hitler appear to be more relevant to city officials than George Washington or Thomas Jefferson.

Someone needs to inform Mr.Singer, that we do not recall joining the 3rd Reich and declaring him above the forefathers of this country! If Mr.Singer had black or brown skin-he would be out of a job!......WAIT...HOLD UP.....Mayor Ray Nagin still has his job and he has brown skin, so that isnt the case anymore-you just have to be a rich idiot in New Orleans these days!  There are too many uppity, WASP, criminal rogue types who are on a power trip since Hurricane Katrina struck!  Everyone is maneuvering to be the dictator and this man needs to be behind bars if he cant respect the laws of this land.  I hope Judge Marullo not only jails his sorry ass but "looses" him;) Ya know how we do that here in this neck of the woods! Send him to court without legal representation and see how he likes it!

JEFFERSON PARISH COPS..SCAPEGOATED??(keeping it real) by N. Duplessis

President Bush, reluctantly, came to N.O. to read a speech prepared by his speech writer to mark the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.  President Bush looked more like an unpopular, seven year old standing in front of a science class, doing a show-n-tell than like the head of the world's greatest "super-power."  This is psychology 101-when a person commits a crime against someone or something-they loose bearing and stare off to the left.  This was exactly how I would describe Bush giving that speech.  The main major highlights were talking about music Cd's and sending in more Prosecutors to help with the court system in New Orleans.  Yes, Louisiana great court system of corruption.  We have active judges sitting on the judicial bench but going to parties in "black face" and attending a Klan party!  We have a police force where every other officer appears to be a sociopath themselves.  I will never forget the first news report after the French Quarter was reopen-showing a black man getting beat on Bourbon street by N.O.P.D. while an ignorant New Orleans black cop (as most are) sat upon a horse to block news cameras! With all of this corruption in the N.O.P.D.on the east bank of the river-How in the world is the Jefferson Parish cops being called racist?

It is hard for the NAACP to cry racism when it comes to the NOPD, which is made up of a large group of corrupt African-American cops! African-American cops use excessive force against blacks citizens and not white citizens, for the most part.  If this would be Creole folks having a "race" issues then the NAACP wouldn't even get involved because they do not view Creoles or Mulattoes as African-Americans but when it is time to take credit for a historic accomplishment-we all black brothers and sisters-all of a sudden! Where in the hell is NOPD recruiting from..the Magnolia projects..the Fisher..the Iberville Projects?  We talk about the Southern Nazi mentality of the cops in Jefferson Parish (rightfully so) but there is also the sociopath mentality of cops in Orleans Parish.  A black person may have to worry about getting profiled and harassed in Jefferson Parish by a white cop but in Orleans Parish, the same black person may have to worry about getting beat and killed by a black cop! Isn't this black on black crime? Like Mayor Ray Nagin says "Lets keep it real!" In keeping it real, NOPD had an African-American, female cop, named Antoinette Franks, who would not only do armed robberies but would kill everyone in the room! Jefferson Parish P.D. didn't have an Antoinette Franks. (just keeping it real folks)

While I feel bad for the people who were shot at and told to turn around and go back into a city flooded with 15 feet of water and looting cops-I still think that Jefferson Parish P.D. is still nothing compared to N.O.P.D.-civil rights groups seem to forget that there are reports of gangs of NOPD doing drive-byes on any black person that they saw during Hurricane Katrina!  What has been reported by people in New Orleans is so horrendous that Jefferson Parish cops should be given a medal for only stopping people on a bridge.  They didn't know if these people were carrying guns or what their intentions were-after all it was top cop-Compas-who was feeding the "propaganda" about random rapes of little girls and armed thugs to the national media.  The top cop of NOPD-even had me shaking while I was in the comfort of my home in Southern California watching the events unfold on my television. In fact, it was Neshelle Turner, an African-American journalist with Fox and a native of New Orleans-who was running back to Los Angeles reporting how violent the blacks were in New Orleans! So, why is Kanye West and other black groups not taking note to the fact that African-Americans on the police force and in the media, created much of the hype? The more I think about it, African-American journalist, Neshelle Turner said, "the blacks in New Orleans are animals!" on a local news station in California. Why isn't NOPD and Orleans Parish getting sued like Jefferson Parish?  Wheres the criticism for Orleans Parish?  Why isn't Compas being hauled off into court?  Why aren't the reports of NOPD of Orleans Parish and their crimes (when we all know there is a serious corruption problem in this dept) being investigated?  What is Orleans Parish trying to hide? 

I am not attempting to defend the "Compas Effect" reaction of Jefferson Parish cops(which some are calling racist but I say the cops acted on info. provided by a black police chief in Orleans Parish about the way blacks were acting in the city) when they didn't allow innocent people to evacuated from Orleans Parish onto the west bank but this over reaction was, in part, due to the way NOPD's top brass, carelessly reported rumors of rape and murder as facts to the national media.  If I was living in my old apartment in Terrytown area of Gretna section in Jefferson Parish, and I was getting fed all this hype from NOPD's top cop and brass, former Police Chief-Eddie Compas and African-American reporters like Neshelle Turner-then I am sure that I would not have wanted people coming from Orleans Parish into Jefferson Parish either-Mayor Ray Nagin had business to have those people evacuated in the first place and Mayor Ray Nagin's buddy, James Reiss, head of the RTA and millionaire developer-who was in charge of the city's buses which never came-should be under a jail! Lt.Gov Mitch Landrieu had it partly right when he stated that the Mississippi Bridge scandal was due to mainstream media reporting lies and rumors as facts-but good ole Mitch is "white" and felt it inappropriate or politically incorrect to place blame on a black police chief, black police force and black reporters-Well, Mr. Landrieu let me handle this one for you-it was AFRICAN-AMERICANS WHO LABELED THEMSELVES. AN AFRICAN AMERICAN POLICE CHIEF, AFRICAN-AMERICAN REPORTERS AND THE ORLEANS P.D. AFRICAN-AMERICAN COPS SAID THAT THE BLACKS WERE ANIMALS AND THUGS IN NEW ORLEANS TO THE ENTIRE WORLD! So There! Mitch didn't have to say it! Thats the facts of why blacks got turned away on the bridge! What was Eddie Compas or Neshelle Turner's motives? Who knows? I know Neshelle Turner got a promotion at Fox networks! So, I guess that black people getting on television and calling other black people "animals" is a way of upward mobility at Fox networks but this isn't the fault of Jefferson Parish cops! The only way that this can be racism is if Sheriff Harry Lee has his hands in this mix! Sheriff Harry Lee represents everything that is wrong, ignorant, racist and nasty in this city and the man has no creditability.  Having an Asian-American Sheriff carrying out the work of the Ku Klux Klan is the same as having an ignorant African-American cop on a horse blocking news cameras as a black man gets beat on Bourbon street. Sometimes there are good cops who suffer due to having a Chief/Sheriff that is too extreme, controversial or lacks any credibility. A cop, soldier or any other public servant is always held responsible for the faults of "Higher-UPS" and that needs to cease. It is time for "Higher UPS" to start being responsible for what they say, report and actions that they perform while in uniform! So, in conclusion President Bush (even though he has no intention of keeping any promise to the city and we all know this;) shouldn't be sending in prosecutors but instead sending an independent,civilian, internal affairs dept. that isn't compromised and made up of former corrupt cops, to clean up this city's thug sociopath police dept! Make sure that NOPD isn't going around putting mafia hits on civilians because these string of recent murders are looking and smelling very suspicious when they are finding young black men dead and all lined up in the street. I know the track record of the NOPD and I am not ready to buy the drug/gang excuse this early. Like Mayor Ray Nagin says, "Lets keep it real!"  So, in my "keeping it real," it isn't Jefferson Parish cops with this track record!

Once again, good thing for Governor Kathleen Blanco and General Russel Honore-because things could have been a whole lot worse.  I am not defending Jefferson Parish but they reacted to the corruption of Orleans Parish.

Dam! When I was a kid in high school I used to think that Plaquemines Parish had a corruption problem and shoot off letters to the "Gazaette" and "Watchmen" newspapers in Belle Chase but Orleans Parish/Jefferson Parish and this entire region is one big list of corrupt, crooked characters, who just will not stop and no ones in jail? Except the 20 year old black kid who got caught with a 5.00 bag of marijuana as oppose to that old white lady selling drugs from the French Quarter -who didn't do jail time-in fact she said "don't cha have any black people you can put in jail?"  Creoles and Cajuns, appear to be the only ones who desire a better quality of life in this region because lord knows, we could do without everyone else!

BOUDREAUX THE FISHERMAN(by Alex)

Now Boudreaux, he fall in love with Marie and he ask her to marry him.  Marie was very naive and uninformed about the birds and the bees. Boudreaux was a poor fisherman and could not afford to take time off for a honeymoon.  So, that night that
they were married, they retired to his little shack on the bayou.   When Boudreaux was undressing Marie said, "Oh Boudreaux! What dat is?"

Boudreaux being very quick thinking and sensitive to Marie's
naivety  said, "Marie, my love, I am the only man in the world wit one of
these."
And,then, he proceeded to show her what it was for, and Marie was happy.

The next morning Boudreaux went off to fish as usual, him.
When he returned home that evening, Marie was on the front porch
obviously upset about something.  "Boudreaux, you told me that you were the
only man in the world with one of those, and I saw Thibodeaux, our friend, changing his clothes behind the fish shed, and he had one, too."

Thinking fast, Boudreaux said, "Oh, Marie,darling, Thibodeaux
is my very best friend.  I had two of dem things, so I gave him one.  He is the only other man in the world with one of doze." Marie being very naive,accepted his answer and they did their thing again that night.
Boudreaux went off to fish again the next morning, and when he returned home, Marie was very upset, and stamping her foot on the porch.

Boudreaux said, "Marie, what is the matter now?"

"Boudreaux, you gave Thibodeaux the best one!!"

RAY NAGIN=UNCLE TOM'S BAYOU!!by Nagara Duplessis

Ann Rochell of USA Today interviewed Mayor Ray Nagin and he is saying some very, very strange stuff. Every national journalist knows that Ray Nagin talks out of both sides of his mouth. I said it before and I will say it again, this is Ray Nagin and this is what he does.  Mayor Ray Nagin is a charming, sly, cunning guy.  He can be sweet but he can also be low down-especially when he is under the influence of the elite white WASP of this city.

During an interview to USA Today Ray "Uncle Tom" said, " For the most part, recovery will be done by citizen's investment." Nagin said, "We are giving all citizens the right and opportunity to return home."

So, for Ray "Uncle Tom" Nagin to make a statement like this, there was actual talk about not allowing people to return home!! This is poor black folks so there had to be a talk by government officials to decide if black people can return home or if we are just going to steal their property and homes!  If this would be any other demographic of people, in a state like Florida, California, Mississippi, Texas or any other place-there would be no debate on if people have a "right to return."  I thought this was the United States of America but evidently we have become Palestine and the lower ninth "HOME OWNERS," have become the Palestinians.  Why is there even a discussion about a "right of return?"  I wouldn't even fix my lips to call these "faith based-good neighbor," scam programs sponsored by elite WASP, developers and protestant scam churches-giving citizens the opportunity to return! Those programs are bullshit and everyone knows it!  Anything to do with developers and the black church is bullshit!  Of course these people are protected under the laws of this land to full rights of ownership of property that they own.  If this was my family and this government was talking about me not being allowed back on my block...forget about it.....I would have such a spotlight shined on these wannabe communist Americans, that the entire world will see the double talk and hypocrisy of this country.  No one will drive me from my home or my property-I don't care what regulations and flood plans you declare! There would have been no flood if the levee was not sabotaged in the first place!  Speaking of sabotaging levees-who in this corrupt government has the balls to investigate, expose and jail the capitalist pig forces behind ruining so many people lives? The "New" New Orleans is set to be made over into a Southern Disney land which the natives are calling the "white man's paradise" agenda.  Now, I can understand not rebuilding those housing developments! Oh Yes indeed, I will get behind a plan to leave those housing developments out of the final plans of New Orleans. They were dangerous, an eye sore and I would not walk through one if you paid me but you people want to displace home owners!!! Thats the criminal aspect that no one should accept. These people paid taxes and were HOME OWNERS! Contrary to popular belief(outside of housing developments and Congo Square)-this city doesn't have that much of African-American  or Anglo White-American culture(outside of trailer parks and Protestant churches)-it is French-Caribbean Creole's culture-from the architecture, food, jazz to Mardi Gras. This was all Creole contributions-they are mislabeled but it doesn't change the historic facts! On the other hand, as a Creole of New Orleans-I have seen how racism has destroyed even Creole, historic neighborhoods and displaced thousands of Creole families while brining in a lighter shade (if you know what I mean;).  There's a history of the "whitening" and even "blackening" effect in this city.  I guess Americans are too lazy to work for their own homes and land so they get government to steal it for them and them redistribute other's generational wealth.  Look at the French quarter, Marigny, Bywater, 7th ward-our Creole neighborhoods are disappearing and everything is being done to remove our historic fingerprints.  This rebuilding of the "New" New Orleans-is history in the making, indeed! Even today, my mother and grandmother in Lower-Plaquemines have had oil companies pay off judges to declare eminent domain and then move in to steal land! I know how the story goes in this state! I know how Louisiana corruption works and lets just say that racial lines determined the "value" of how much your land is worth!

(Sept 18, 2006 Time. released these findings about Protestant evangelicals: on the low end-18% of people think that their Pastor/Reverend can also provide financial consultation better than a trained financial consultant who holds a LICENSE!) This is the blind trust that people have in these business crooks hiding behind Jesus! This number is even higher for African-American Protestants. This would explain the coalition of African-American protestant power types flocking to New Orleans and making a not-so-secret alliance with WASP developers/contractors and the city of New Orleans! Mayor Ray Nagin has Al Sharpton in one ear and Big Developers (Jospeh Canizaro-right wing Southern Nazi-Bush lover) in the other ear-and the final end result-is the fact that FEMA hasn't sent in that caravan of trucks to clear property and every plot of land doesn't have a FEMA trailer sitting on it with residence getting their lives together. Instead we have a deliberate, slow response to clear land and distribute FEMA trailers. THIS CITY DOESN'T WANT PEOPLE ON THEIR OWN LAND. THEY WANT TO BUILD COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENTS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY! This is what they are trying to buy time to figure out.  They figure in about a year..maybe the hype will die down and we can take the folk's land. WE WILL NEVER ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN-EVER! 

How much of money-donated by Americans for Katrina victims have been stolen by Protestant Preachers and Protestant churches?(there's one in New York right now who was collecting funds that should have been going to Katrina victims, like he was collecting a welfare check!) How much of loans intended for small business to rebuild in New Orleans (this is the norm for this city) has been stolen by big corporations? Lots! The only thing that Louisiana officials can say is "The money has disappeared but it's not the people's fault." Well, who the hell fault is it? Why aren't these white-collar criminals in jail? It is Enron creative accounting, every single day in this state!

New Orleans would have a crime rate cut in half if the schools in African-American areas, poor white areas, and even rural country side areas, weren't grossly under budget, had a qualified school board and didn't look like old gutted out trailers.  Louisiana uses books that are over 30 years old!!! I once had my own mother's history book from the 60's being taught in the 90's!  The school books are so old and bad in this state that they still teach the Earth is flat! So, I know that Louisiana doesn't invest funding into education but we can build brand new jails!

Gary Solomon, who served on Ray "Uncle Tom's Bayou" Nagin-"Bring New Orleans Back Commission," is another WASP who is throwing a temper tantrum at the horrible fact that all Americans will be allowed to return back to the homes that they owned!  Gary Solomon just cant understand why New Orleans has to rebuild every street?  He so badly was looking forward to running people off their land and destroying historic neighborhoods for a little "New" New Orleans makeover.  These are Southern Nazis just like the "New" South the mentality is still there and Jim crow has taken on a modern version in the form of flood plans, commissions, insurance regulations, city and faith-based programs-all set up and designed to steal folk's property! Gary Solomon, is red faced because he doesn't see the logic in rebuilding every street that was destroyed.  Well, Mr. Solomon, I don't see the logic of letting a levee go and destroying folk's homes and then thinking that you could execute a racist plan of gentrification without people knowing what the hell is going on right before our eyes.

Mayor Ray "Uncle Tom" Nagin-you better get it together sir!  This mess isn't going to fly! This is not Palestine or North Vietnam. There has to be one honest man among all of this corruption who will expose these poorly orchestrated "heist." This is a multi-cultural heist made up of Preachers, white developers, WASP, Hollywood directors, Protestant Churches, Black criminals and white criminals all drooling at the mouth for their shot at stealing land in New Orleans-greed has no color!

After 100 days into his second term as Mayor of the "Big Sleazy"-when asked what accomplishments he had achieved as Mayor of New Orleans-Mr. Nagin said,"We have better water pressure."(I cant make this stuff up folks even if I wanted to)

Boudreaux the Catholic (provided by Alex)

Boudreaux, a Cajun highlander from Rapides Parish in central
Louisiana, was an older, single gentleman, who was born and raised a
Baptist, living in South Louisiana.

Each Friday night after work, he would fire up his outdoor grill
and cook a venison steak.

  Now, all of Boudreaux's neighbors were Catholic...  and since it
was Lent, they were forbidden from eating meat on Fridays.


The STRONG delicious aroma from the grilled venison steaks was
causing such a problem for the Catholic faithful that they finally talked
to their priest.


  The priest came to visit Boudreaux, and suggested that Boudreaux
convert to Catholicism. After several classes and much study,
Boudreaux
attended Mass and as the priest sprinkled holy water over him, he said,
"You were born a Baptist and raised a Baptist, but now you are
Catholic."

Boudreaux's neighbors were greatly relieved, until Friday night
arrived, and the wonderful aroma of grilled venison filled the
neighborhood.

  The priest was called immediately by the neighbors and, as he
rushed into Boudreaux's yard, clutching a rosary and prepared to scold him,
he stopped in amazement and watched.



  There stood Boudreaux, clutching a small bottle of water which he
carefully sprinkled over the grilling meat, and chanted:

"You wuz born a deer, and you wuz raised a deer, but now you a catfish."
