Braxton Family Values, Displays the Braxton Dysfunction
Why Toni Braxton went her ass bankrupt & why Tamar Braxton's New Car on Twitter is leased and not owned.
I recall, a many years ago, when Broadway went on this strange kick of hiring LA People to star in their shows and all the black shows had rap artist like Sean Combs aka Diddy TRYING to be an actor while screwing up his role in A Raisin in the Sun. Yes, the frivolous black music artist, trying to be serious actors didnt just stop at Hollywood but some even got so big headed and tried to tackle Broadway in NY, even though they do not have the work ethic to take on an acting schedule that requires eight shows a week and daily rehearsals.
Toni Braxton called herself starring in a musical, Aida, like Fantasia called herself starring in The Color Purple and both times that I went to see these productions, they had called out sick and I sat there watching their under studies.
So what does Fantasia and Toni Braxton have in common? Well, they both went broke! They didnt go broke for being screwed over by management like the TLC case with Pebbles and LaFace but instead they went broke due to spending money when they knew that no money was coming into their accounts.
If you look at the break down of why Toni Braxton went broke, it was basically from her being excessive in her spending and knowing that she wasn't putting out a music project. Toni Braxton went around, on credit, and acquired massive debt because she was too good to stay in a nice hotel but had to get fancy digs on the Upper East Side of New York even if she was only going to be in town for 2 days. Toni Braxton couldn't just stay at a four season hotel, like Paris Hilton...noooooo....Toni Braxton had to have an Upper East Side Luxury ten thousand dollar per night town house.
So, many of these black artist arent going broke due to being screwed by the industry or bootleg Cd's as they would have the public think but instead many are high strung along with being financially irresponsible.
But to keep it real, LaFace Record's La Reid and Babyface did screw over many black artist and during Toni's early days, Laface Records only bought her a new car for her Eddie Murphey's Boomerang film sound track and didnt even give her a wardrobe BUT Toni Braxton went broke, when she was in her prime and no longer dealing with LaFace.
Now, we have Tamar Braxton, thinking she something. Like Toni Braxton, can she sing? Yes. Does she have a beautiful voice? Yes. But is she ghetto fabulous and spending money which her husband/manager does not have? Yes. Now, when you have a tv show on the aire, THATS WHEN AN ARTIST NEEDS TO PUT OUT THEIR CD to get on the charts but Tamar aint doing nothing but posting twitter pics of her new car & wearing her Wonder Woman Boots.
Tamar Braxton doing all of that talking about how she gonna be all this and all that, got the public waiting for some kind of music, ANY KIND OF MUSIC and aint shit poppin!
Braxton Family Values, tv show, only shows the dysfunction of that family. There is one decent Braxton that is married to a video gamer and appears to be the Aunt Jamama for Toni, working as her assistant. Now, there is a dark skin one, who is married to a sex addict mexican like Janet Jackson and appears to be an alcoholic.
The mini-me Toni Braxton, called Tamar, who isnt even promoting her CD or music but stays on Twitter 24/7 posting pics of her new car! Well, we all know that her car is leased and not owned, so this is why these Braxton girls stay bankrupt.
